Hey lads and lasses, what say you of the Cobb rear motormount for the FoST?
I may be able to get a good deal on one. Also, what purpose do blow-off valves serve performance wise? I always thought they were just for show.
And thirdly, lately after spirited driving sessions just trying to dodge “Tabitha” in her empty 7 seater SUV, the FoST has a faint hint of coolant when I park up any thoughts?

If it’s similar to the FiST then it’s great as long as you don’t mind a bit more NVH. Completely gets rid of the ‘wa-bang’ on hard shifts, helps a tad for wheel hop and removes a bit of sloppiness from shifts in general. There’s a seriously noticeable vibration at idle (especially with AC on) when new. As it wears in that minimizes, but remains noticeable.

They go PSSSSSSS. That’s about it since you have a diverter valve already. Some people will argue otherwise, but they’re wrong for normal cars (I don't know if there's a benefit in specific race conditions for cars designed from the get-go to have one). Also, blow off valves can cause issues with a quick rich condition since the system expects additional volume of air to be in there. I don’t know if it’s really bad, never heard of any issues from it, but it’s a thing.

Hairline crack in reservoir? That’s what’s caused it for me usually in the past. If it’s a concerning pressurize or vacuum the system and look around.

Couldn’t have answered it better.
BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest.

In most cases, a blow off valve is set to open at a certain pressure to avoid too much boost, but with a FoST there’s already a diverter valve that does the same basic thing.

I have the turbo smart diverted valve for my fost, holds boost better and releases it quicker. Upgraded metal piston helps that vs the rubber diaphragm that rips over time. Still keeps it quiet though. If you put an intake in the car with an open air filter you'll hear the recirc. It upgrade to this and stay away from any that vent to the atmosphere. The rmm will also help with wheel hop, I won't eliminate it but it'll help. As for the coolant, watch your levels I've had no leakage in 3 yrs 35k.
